Makha Bucha

Makha Bucha is an important Buddhist holiday to honor the teaching of Buddha. Over 2500 years ago on the full-moon of the 3rd month 1250 monks came to the same place without any appointment to hear Lord Buddha’s preaching. The principles of the studying are: “The non-doing of evil / the full performance of what is wholesome / the total purification of the mind.” To remark this even most of the temples hold a candlelight procession.
